No actually, that's how MH Meyerson makes their money. I have to say I think it's a good plan all in all. If I were a MM I'd do the same thing... except that today I would have sold at a price much higher than .33 and just under the ask posted by the other MMs. Actually, knowing what I know I woudln't have shorted this one... Typically MH Meyerson will move out of the way when big news comes out, and when I called AW they did say that the news hadn't exactly gone around the street yet since it hadn't been issued as a press release yet. Hopefully it will be out tomorrow and then we'll be some action. Hopefully the terms of the aquisition will be favorable in light of the boost they will give our EPS... I'm sure it would be or Ira wouldn't be making the deal. There are so many companies that are failing to meet their true potential because the people running them simply aren't very good business men. I suspect FAMH brought in Ira because they knew he could bring out the true potential of their company. Now it will be fun to see what he can do with this one! ;-)
