More traders buy the 'Put' options and sell 'Call' options when the Market ran up over 100 points five day in a row.


The sell 'Call' options makes VIX rise and XIV decline. The buy 'Put' options makes VIX rise and The sell 'Call' options makes XIV decline. If I'm wrong, please let me know.



Based on what you said and and the opinion here

It seems as long as the market continues its strong no stop move higher the VIX will need to rise until there is an SP sell-off or some degree to relieve pressure Does that make sense?
