The last time I saw Paris was 1954. The last time I saw Paris was in 1972, when I was there with some English friends. Found out that they really do hate the English, but tolerate Americans, as long as they have plenty of $$ to spend. :-) BTW, back then, at least, I thought it was the most romantic place I'd ever seen, and thought it would be an ideal honeymoon locale when I got married. Never did happen, though, and like you, I wouldn't think of going back there now.. :-(
