Very kind of you Shero and Davis, but a real Father must have WISDOM, and I nominate Manfred as the TRUE FATHER of our thread. I respect his wisdom, philosophy, optimism, and sense of humor, as shown by his 6/1/97 post (one of many Classics my Manfred!): "On my death bed my last words to my son will be, 'Son, be good to your mother, don't go out with chorus girls, and don't sell Techniclone for seven years'." As far as why my direct postings are few, I remind you, Shero, of the ole ABE quote you shared with us in your 6/19/97 post (it's etched in my mind forever!): "It's better to remain silent and thought a fool than to speak up and remove all doubt". As we reflect on #1000+, we've covered every emotion possible, screamed & yelled at each other; but you know, we've always come away treating each other with respect, and best of all, WE'VE NEVER LOST OUR SENSE OF HUMOR! Just one example - Celeryroot's 8/26/97 reply to Shero (how Classic was this!?!!): "I highly suggest you be more professional in your postings". Keep it up everybody - don't change a thing!!!!
