Compaq spokesman Mike Berman declined to comment on specifics but confirmed the changes would include enhancements to the company's current $799 system. ''We expect we're going to provide a better value than H-P or anybody else at that price point,'' Berman said. ''We're going to be focusing on value at every price point.'' Joe
