My hunch is that Trump knows everything he needs to know or wants to know, re: intel.

Including the fact that a few moles inside the intelligence community hate his guts, are out to get him, and have committed felonies by arranging to release classified info to the media. Doubt he knows at this moment who they are, exactly.

As an example, take the SEC. For every public indictment of white collar crime, say insider trading, I would guess they are well aware of 20 or 30 more that go on. But hard enough proof to be pretty sure of a conviction? So a lot of people get away with a lot of felonious acts. Including espionage, aiding and abetting enemies of the U.S., etc.

Yes, I think Sessions should convene a grand jury to investigate. Or at least a special prosecutor. I hope he will; the swamp badly needs it.

But I'm not holding my breath. And it would have to come, basically, with Trump's concurrence. And I'm not convinced that would be in potus best interests yet, mostly because of the media firestorm and how he judges he will make out in the court of public opinion. . Maybe he will come around to that conclusion that he can win that battle, maybe not.
