This is what it boils down to: the Isles get sky high against the Rags because they know that every hockey fan in the NYC area is watching.

Isles have a very weak fan base and if it wasn't for Bettman and the fact that the franchise is in the NYC area, the team would be playing elsewhere by now in Seattle, KC or Quebec City.

My season tickets declined from $45 per game to $29 per game next season. But Barclays is one super ugly arena and I'm not talking about the ice or many of the obstructions in terms of viewing; it is very dark and dreary inside. Whoever designed this arena should have their head examined. We wouldn't renew our tickets even if we remained in NYC.
