That doesn't seem like too hi of a premium to buy, and if there is a surprise you could make a quick buck. But I am the last one to ask about options. I got burned there buying calls and have vowed not to do it again. Its fun to guess though...

robert,i just looked up jan75 on fidelity and the last sale was 1 1/8.
the high today was 1 3/6 and the closing spread is 1 1/16-1 3/16.
if you sell these calls why not use the money and buy some jan70puts
which closed at spread of 3/4- 13/16....
i am long on intel,but not this quarter.....i don't see any tech stock
coming out with blowout numbers this quarter that will propel their stock and expect cautious comments for q2....just an opinion.
www.news.com reports today intc sitting on 3mil unsold processors.
