If you check the holdings of the Chairman and his wife who is separately listed, you'll see they have a lot of shares. I would think anybody would take profits on a regular basis and this still leaves him perhaps the single largest shareholder.

If he was trading on bad news, he would have been smarter to start selling earlier.

I had heard that he had sold some stock about a month ago (can't recall the source). He may have sold for variety of reasons and not necessarily due to bad news. He may have needed cash for whatever reason (to include living expenses, taxes, etc). Considering he has I believe 900k shares +- 60k is not alot of shares.

No big deal - maybe he has a large tax issue to cover, a daughter in college or is buying a rolls royce for his wife. Senior executives are generally very sensitive to selling stock during down turns and are not likely to do it without personal provocations.
