If the independents flip in a big way watch out! They may have already begun to flip which would explain the bump in the Rasmussen numbers.

None of the alphabet news shows, or Fox, will mention Rasmussen numbers. Oh, they know about them because MSNBC and FOX will say "core voters for Trump are in the 30/40% range" to CYA.

I think your analysis is spot on. One thing that may be worrisome is the potential that RINOs may turn against the president in numbers. Not sure how likely that is, but it could be problematic. More than a few must be watching which way the wind is blowing. Many don't like Trump, and will stay in line only due to fear of repercussions.
