My wife had to get a Masters Degree to continue teaching in a Catholic school.

I think that's pretty universal for them and the same for public schools.

I don't know what Christian Schools require. I do get the feeling that Christian schools are more hard nosed on religion. I think anybody can get into a Catholic school regardless of their religious beliefs, but I don't think the Christian schools allow any NON believers.

Catholic Schools already have a history and an infrastructure and a pretty good reputation so it would seem wise to use them rather than a "for profit" school that not only needs to fund itself and its employees but also its Investors.

My wife has also had some "run ins" with parents, but at this point her reputation seems to precede her so she doesn't seem to get too much flack.

She's had some in the past though and she's never been paid enough have to put up with it. She's why I respect Catholic Teachers so much.
