Brian, I hope some of the thread gurus will reply. As for me, I own
a bunch of QNTM. Of the big three (the others are SEG and WDC) I
like QNTM best. It hasn't been beaten as badly as the others -
perhaps because of its profitable DLT tape business. QNTM also
has an agreement with TeraStor to make some of their optical/magnetic

ReadRite warned today after close. I had some nice profits
from this stock a few years ago. Am considering buying some
this week. RDRT won't disappear, being the largest independent
maker of heads. You know how stocks behave after warnings.<G>

PS: predictions are that by 2000 two DDs will be sold for every box.
Also, a price of 2 cents/MB by 2000. So don't let dropping prices
spook you. (Even though foreign dumping has accelerated the expected drop in price/MB). Just like DRAMs.
