Mike, I haven't heard it, but I think it highly unlikely. Mutual funds operate under the fiction that they are separate cos. with separate boards of directors watching out for shareholder interests. It is certainly not in the best interests of a T-Bond fund shareholder to loan money to bail out the shareholders of a go-go fund. I think the SEC would send them packing if they even broached the subject. At least I hope so. Of course, that is how the regulators temporarily saved the banking system, in addition to printing lots and lots of bogus money. -g- MB
