>> Trump deserves a Nobel price for having pulled off that miracle against all odds and media on the side of the massive crowd of opponents against him.

I agree. I don't care what anyone says about the man but that was an impressive win. It was interesting to me to watch the media -- not just the liberals, but Fox and other less liberal outfits, counting him out.

Now and then you go to the racetrack and you see a 10-1 shot running a route who starts out without a lot of early speed but hangs in near the front and pulls into the lead by the first pole. And you can just sort of feel the energy, some would call it momentum, and you watch as he maintains the lead at every pole. Then, the stretch he pours it on you know no one is going to catch him.

I felt that way about Trump, but at the same time I was reading the polls. And it was impossible to square the two. Who I do believe, the polls or my lyin' eyes? And I thought about how in 2012 the Republicans were so sure the polls were wrong and they turned out to be right. I thought that was how it would end. But the entire time I could see there was a clear path to that win, but I had no idea he was going to take those three blue states.

The day before the election I think Trump made about 7 stops. I was in my office working at midnight and they were showing a crowd in MI waiting for him to stop and it was a big-assed crowd. I was trying to figure out, "Where are these crowds for Hillary? Why would she not have crowds if people are so excited about her?"

Best damned election race ever.
