Deepak, although some of what you say is true, you have to recognize that Intel's new strategy is to target different market segments. For example, in the server and workstation market, the trend is for higher speed and multpile processors. Therefore in these segments, there IS the need for more processing power. Obviously, for the low-cost computer, the emphasis is on cost and not processor speed. I don't think you can generalize like you did since what you said may be true for only 20% of Intel's business.
