I think you're making the mistake of not considering this a biotech. Take a look at the company and you'll find they're working on medical problems, not getting high. What difference does it make if drugs are developed chemically, or extracted from various plants and animals, the key is do they work. If they work, does it really matter if cannabis is what they're extracted from, or anything else. It's time that we stop focusing on how something is developed and start focusing on how effective it is.

I don't know that I'd be alive today without a stem cell transplant. It wasn't that long ago when many opposed the use of stem cells in any manner. Sure, since then we've learned that stem cells can be from adults, but had those opposed to any use been successful, perhaps we'd never have learned that you need not get the cells from infants or the unborn.

I believe if you truly look at OWCP you'll realize that it's a biotech that just happens to work with cannabis rather then a company looking to sell marijuana in any form the market demands.
