Yes, I think it becomes more significant as the wedge narrows... many investors think it is only when the lines meet that the big move will be made, but they are close enough now that the move can happen any day.

Right now the Resistance line is being tested... if the index value rises significantly higher then this would be very bullish. But do you think we stand to see a greater bullish rise... I don't.

So I would be more concerned when the index value falls and tests the Support line. That to me is more likely to happen (eventually the support fails and the index value plummets)

Also by extending those lines you can estimate a timeline where the change will happen
