Dave, I still love all the Asian CEFs, though most are highly speculative. I also am warming up to Singapore and Taiwan again, which are not in trouble.

I think the linkage is minimal between Korea and either Malaysia or China/Hong Kong. However, there is a lot of linkage with Japan and the EWJ may be an acceptable swap for a Korean resurgence.

I know what you mean about the Webs. I've been licking my chops over Thai Webs being listed since the Summer. I don't know what the Sec is doing them. I guess the promoters didn't hire the right ex-SEC staffer to push through the new issues. Of course, the promoters may have shelved them until they are overpriced. Fund guys do that.

Any guy who has shaken hands with Lou Thesz is ok by me. A few of us are still old enough to remember Ted DiBiase throwing passes at West Texas state to Tito Santana behind the blocking of Virgil Runnels (Dusty Rhodes) and Dirty Dick Murdoch. Those 4 guys were pro wrestling at one point in time.

I don't want to form a Compaq support group. A lynch mob is more to my liking right now. -g- MB
