This quarter, AMD will also launch a 10-city seminar series jointly with Microsoft to help VARs understand how to make money using AMD, while also providing tips on generating more business, Toles said. 1. The "box processor" tidbit probably means that it will be a while before K6-266 and K6-300 is available to hobbyists near list price 2. The Microsoft collaboration, on "how to make money with AMD" seminars, is astounding, because it probably means Microsoft will be publicly endorsing and promising OS support for the K6-3D instruction set. Thanks for all your informative posts -- I've learned to skip over all the drivel from Yousef, Elmer, Stockman that fills these threads. Petz
