Hi Robert , I have been hearing rumours that Compaq will have a considerable number of K6 machines . Perhaps a 266 mhz notebook ?
That would bring the ASP up somewhat ,
Brian

Robert, re:techserver article. Intel schedule slippage??

Intel isn't sitting idle. The company plans to introduce less expensive versions of its Pentium 2 chips more suited to sub-$1,000 machines in the second half of the year.

Didn't Intel originally say that the cheap Pentium II with no cache would be available by (not "in") the 2nd half of the year?
