Alex,

They have been talking about the end of consoles due to PCs for as long as I can remember. It ain't gonna happen and wishing it to happen because ATVI has no presence there is not going to make it happen either. The consoles are here to stay until we have "pure" convergence. At that time, you will have a Sony PC Box with PSX2 chipset and a 600mhz ??? in the living but console doom and gloomers like you will say, "See, the console is dead", even though there is a PSX chip inside. They are already converging with Sega using NEC Power VR in it's new system. But the PC has to enter the living room for consoles to "die" and by the time that happens in mass-market numbers, these machines will contain console chipsets in them.

Regards,

Vic

Alex,
Q2 debuted at #7 for the period of 11/30-12/13 according to PC data.
Remember, Q2 was released on 12/9, only giving it 5 days to make it on the list. My feeling is that sales accelerated into Christmas so I feel confident that Q2 sales are on track.

In Ireland, Q2 sales topped the charts for the 1st week in Jan.
