Did the Isles look that good last night or did Montreal not play well? I didn't watch the game.

First time all year the Isles have won two straight road games.

Interesting, but if we hold on and make the last wild card, we will probably play the Caps, who we have beaten 3 out of 5 games this year in regulation. And the Isles play the Pens, Rags and Blue Jackets very well.

NHL playoff format is a joke. Seeding should be based on points, not division winner. There is more incentive for the Rags to be the first wildcard, then be #3 in division and play Pittsburgh. Last year, the Isles threw the last 2 games at home so they could play Florida instead of the Pens and it paid off by beating Forida in the first round.

I was at the last two regular season games at home. When Tavaras scored the tying goal with a couple of minutes to play against Buffalo, in the second to the last game of the season, the Isle's bench was quiet and the crowd was screaming, "what the hell did you do? Even Tavaras looked bewildered after he scored the tying goal. The crowd booed when the Isles scored and cheered when the opposing team scored in those last two games. It was funny. The coach played AHL players in overtime to ensure the loss. The following night against Phili, the Isles played great in the first period and raced out to a 2-0 lead. Then they rested all their star players and coasted to a 4-2 loss to make sure they got the first wildcard to play Florida. The Rangers were screaming afterwards that the Isles lost intentionally, which they did, but denied, of course.
