Well...

The energy payback is huge for Lithium.

After all... we don't burn it up!

It can be recycled and recycled hundreds of times.

But tragically for ff's once they are burned they are gone!

But for PV's and wind turbines...

The energy payback is very short time for them now.

Both are well below a year now.

But the EROEI for your fossil fuel world just continues to get worse every day as they deplete.

Less than four to one for tarsands.

The writing is on the wall......
