Christine, Glad to see you're going to do some more research on this matter of skewed statistics. No, I do not think it is wrong for government and other concerned factions to point out that smoking and other life choices may be harmful or unhealthy. I think I have clearly stated my objections to California's new anti-smoking law and hope I have made it clear that these objections have nothing to do with smoking or not smoking. If not, I'll explain it again. You have but to ask. Wanna play something else? Holly p.s. BTW, I often do considerable editing after hitting the "submit" button. I have difficulty seeing the screen in "edit" mode. After hitting submit, I am able to see my prose quite clearly--warts and all. I then go back into edit mode. I sometimes do this two and three or even more times. I'm blind as a bat, you see. Some may say I have difficulty seeing because I smoke. I would say it is more likely due to hereditary factors and Windows' fonts and screen colors. <g>
