Hi Paul,

"How to play gold".

They tend to run as a group, so too much analysis is probably a waste of time.

I'm in BMG and HL because they are low cost producers with conservative finances and good "insider" profiles.

I will probably buy NEM on the next down leg. Same profile, even higher quality.

Not buying coins or bullion yet.

The stocks tend to rise at a higher % rate than the metals themselves.

I stayed away from the high cost, high debt plays, and so far that has been a good move. They really clobbered PGU, ECO, RYO, AU, and others.

There are some interesting preferreds available, but I haven't spent much time on them.

This is all relatively new for me. I was a metal hater for 18 years, and a believer in the long term downtrend in inflation and interest rates. I haven't really changed my opinions there, but enough is enough for the metals bear market.

With all the world turbulence it may turn out to be a good insurance policy, also.

Did anyone else notice a dramatic dropoff in volume when NOVL backed off yesterday?
