I haven't seen any news since the corporation announced its "shareholders' rights plan," so I really don't have any clues to the recent price moves.

One guess, however, would be that they merely reflect year-end tax-loss selling and some short covering, pulling in opposite directions, of course. The last time I checked the short position was over 1 million shares, which strikes me as high given the average daily volume for BIKE.

In any event, there is a student-prepared analysis of BIKE's stock price and investment potential posted (in *.pdf format) on the Parker Center's web site. Here is a link: parkercenter.gsm.cornell.edu
