We know that, don't we? That there has been a warming trend underway? I don't think anyone has really challenged that.

The climate warms, it gets cold, it warms. This stuff has been happening for, you know, millions of years, right?

Heck, I heard somewhere that about 1000 years ago it got hot, too. Went up 2/10 of one degree on average (except they didn't have thermometers all over the place and there weren't any ocean measurements and there was no heat island effect or satellites or balloons, so who the hell really knows what happened back then, right?)

But that's what Mr. Mann tells us. It got a little hotter. Oh, yeah, he did sort of "downplay" it to make temperatures today look hotter (relatively) than they are.

Still, we know there was this hotter period back then. Who knows, these two "warmer" periods could be part of a million year trend of getting a LOT hotter! Oh, shit.

But it is hard to get excited about 0.2C or 0.8C. It might drop this Summer, who knows?

LOL. I'm not losing sleep over it.
