On one hand, you are implying pacifism or isolationism, on the other hand you link to... Infowars, com an alt.right fact challenged site. I have many friends in the military; I can tell you for a fact they believe in doing everything they can to avoid civilian casualties, to shield non-combatants. There can be horrible choices to make in combat. Yes, there are sadistic soldiers on all sides of war, but not the vast majority of US soldiers. We correctly (too lightly due to RW uberhawk politics) prosecuted the horrific civilian massacre at My Lai for example, and awarded a brave helicopter crew that intervened on behalf of the civilian victims. US RW exceptionalist hawks like Michael Savage and his paranoid ilk still defend the My Lai massacre. ISIS killers and their cousins do everything they can to either hide behind civilians, physically and in propaganda after actions. Obama was a massive improvement over the war crime tactics of Cheney - Bush. Without putting hundreds of thousands of boots on the ground, and/or committing genocide like the Russians with Bashir Al Assad. You don't have to be an advanced chess player to understand difference of focused drone strikes over missiles, bombs and sadistic torture. Bernie would have ultimately concluded the same thing. No President could survive the office as an isolationist enabling jihadist terrorist groups to roll through the Middle East and much of Northern and central Africa. Obama/Kerry also employed relatively high diplomacy; and believed in treaties to create economic cooperation and avoid wars. Based on facts and relative choices to his predecessor, Obama's legacy will not be the alt.right narrative. Hile Hitler Democrats! My grandfather's family in Poland was wiped out by the ovens of Hitler. Please don't go there. We can not have any dialogue if this is the level it sinks to.
