Agree and something is off with the NovaBench score.

Try PassMark and I'll bet your computer scores far higher. :)

As stated a message ago, and by Josh, your cpu percentile rank is clearly wrong. You can always run novabench a 2nd and 3rd time to see how scores compare. The nice thing about novabench is its test is much faster than passmark which Josh linked you to and I've used and posted screenshots. Found a 30 day free trial there.

You have a VERY NICE modern system. Your gpu upgrade could only help your score but seems the dumbest thing to do unless you consider used parts, or actually need the upgrade. Your skill for building and replacing modular parts looks top notch to me!

I'm architecture limited (not in space) in mobo and other chipset architecture as to their modernity. But having an old xeon tank, and tank case, etc. has helped to make me very pleased with this workstation rebuild to date.

My main hope now is newer class dual cpu workstations like this are sold cheap off lease for vultures like me to play! -gulp- ;-) Please keep the board posted if you upgrade or build anything new, especially if new Ryzen based.
