There is a pretty huge difference between treating a malfunction and having a the parents of a 7 year old child determine that a child is the "wrong" gender. Which is f*ing stupid. You're talking about imposing on a child what is likely to be the most disruptive event in his life, on the basis of parents' ultra liberal beliefs. It is stupid.
If it happens at 16 it is an entirely different discussion, or at 23. But at 7 is absurd.

You must not be including the truth of Christianity in your reference to religion.
The truth of Christianity is actually liberating. The truth of Christianity is liberating to all who receive it.
You sound like all you have received is the condemnation that comes with rejecting it. Too bad.

Most of those drugs aren't given to children.

Religion is good for kids. Scientific studies show that.
