Carol, that breast implant stuff is very interesting. I have no medical knowledge at all, but is it possible that if the autologous tissue is grown from cells from other parts of the body, it might not be as likely to create another cancer? Or is it grown from breast tissue itself? My friend Del is very interested in scientific issues. Let's ask him. Del, do you know where Carol could find out more information about this? Sugar Magnolia was a very wild and romantic character who used to frequent these threads. She loved to write bad poetry, especially. Her heart was broken in a disastrous romance, and she has pretty much disappeared from sight. Undercurrents of emotion? Last summer, when I was not in a very good mood and had just returned to SI after a pretty long absence, I had a disagreement with someone else here, which resulted in a Big Fight and unfortunate polarization from which we are just now returning to normalcy. Several people ended up pretty hurt, and other people took sides, and it spilled over onto several threads for quite a long time, and was especially unpleasant for the innocent onlookers. While I think most of the people most directly involved are feeling much better, and civility has returned to these threads, and the antagonists have begun posting at Feelings again, and are most certainly welcome, a couple of others on the edges may have other agendas, and are attempting to continue the general rudeness and personal attacks, which I have no intention of perpetuating. So yes, you did miss something, but consider yourself lucky!!! Hey, you look a lot younger with only one chin!!!!!! < : )
