It is very strange this contract wasn't even shown in Yahoo quote or Ascend website. I searched several other sources and found nothing. I like the Canadians rumor. Between LU and NT, I think NT has better chance. They just want ASND to give a couple of nice reports to show better earning visibility. NT can wait to buy ASND 'til July or Aug., by then, LU still can't do anything about the accounting restriction (if they could, they would have bought ASND last year). NT has 24 billion market cap (LU: $50 billion). Even at today's price, ASND has a tag of 5 billion, major investment for NT, or LU.
