The church is supposed to be the moral leader, right? Then why are they not held to the same standard as the rest of us with regard to discrimination against the gay community and their proselytizing misogyny and other cultural offenses? Because in the US we have freedom of thought, conscience, and religion. You get to pick your moral framework and other people get to pick theirs. You can't impose yours on them any more than they can impose theirs on you. You get to look down your nose at them, though, if you like. And back atcha.
