That is an interesting piece of Fake News. Who wrote this? It sounds like an 8th grader did it. No doubt the leakers did request anonymity since they were breaking Federal law and would be sent to Federal prison. That is IF it happened at all. "according to three former American officials who requested anonymity in discussing classified intelligence." These supposed former officials would be Obama hacks he put in place. That is if they existed at all. If they exist they are traitors and should be punished as such. Did you ever stop to think that maybe the Russians are trying to sabotage the Presidency of Donald Trump? That make all of the Demonrats complicit with the Russians in their efforts to take down President Trump. This would not be the first time the Demonrats sided with the Russians against our country.
