OT-IMO -Compile your watch list while your waiting. The longer an bigger it is. The more choices you will have. This to look for that opportunity in your future investment style. There's always sector rotation with degrees of what's timely and what's not. IMO it's hard to be diversified with limited capital. However don't let that be a deterrent. You have to start somewhere, if you have passion. Example -Being your in the Value investing board. Your picks might need to focus on quality that's been beaten down. You also might want to focus in investment areas you know and understand.

P.S.
Have some of your school mates ever heard the old Cliche saying. Smart investors buy when others panic sell? While that might be true, and although it might not seem glitzy. IMO truly smart investors book profits and beat commonly tracking averages, consistently over time. Your friends might be buying SNAP today and win big. However remember this old Cliche saying. The turtle beat the hare in the great race.
