We had our crazies to. It is the human condition. People too easily will believe any nonsense.And the new and esoteric existential revolution of the 60's was fertile ground for charlatans. And I opposed them in the 60's exactly like I opposed the crazy Republicans all my life. That is why I stick closely to science. We are an irrational species. I don't even trust my own thinking all that much. Look at how many people believe preposterous myths, cannot even wrap their mind around evolution, or global warming, or even the dangers of smoking even though the facts are staring them in the face. We evolved from monkey type primates. A rational species would have seen that in 1859 when Darwin released his great book. 160 years later 90% of people on earth are still rejecting that.
