RACHEL DOLEZAL CHANGES HER NAME TO NKECHI AMARE DIALLO

Following two years of ridicule for pretending to be a black woman, former NAACP president Rachel Dolezal has changed her name to Nkechi Amare Diallo – a name from the Igbo language of Nigeria that means “what God has given.” According to The Daily Mail, Dolezal actually made the change in October of 2016. The outlet reportedly recently obtained the court documents.

The Associated Press reports that a judge granted Dolezal – who identifies as “trans black” – her name change request on October 7, 2016.

Unsurprisingly, news of her name change has garnered quite a bit of reaction online. CONT...
