I don't know. Trump is transparent to me. I have no idea why so many can't see it. Of course, now they've voted for him and elected him, so they feel party loyalty. You know how Democrats close their eyes for their guys.

BTW Bernie didn't say anything about Putin I know about but he DID associate himself with the USSR and Communist Cuba. He praised the idea of bread lines, he criticized the US for letting there be so many brands of deodorant and tennis shoes on the market ... he IS a Communist in fact. He'd like to make the US into a Soviet Union, Cuba, Venezuela where the economy is run by cadres. So why is HE popular? He's a bad man!

Back to Trump, I've said he is a Corrupter. I capitalize that word in order to suggest there's something more than normal going on with him. I believe there is a supernatural war between good and evil going on in the world. Some people are clearly associated with evil and benefit for a time from that association. Trump corrupts people around him and people who support him. And he survives things that should have ruined him. He had a negative net worth of a billion dollars in the mid 90's. A page of his tax return was leaked (undoubtedly by Marla Maples) last year and proved that. Yet with the benefit of massive loans and gifts from his family, he came back when he should have been ruined. He lucked into a TV show which presented a man who was a massive failure at business as a business genius. Trump knows and brags about how he gets away with things. BTW Bill Clinton is another Corrupter, as is Obama. None of these people should ever have been elected President. Shouldn't have even been nominated. But it happened. Yes, I'm suggesting three of our recent Presidents might have pacts with Satan. You can see the problems with Trump and Republicans can see the problems with the Clinton's and Obama's. But they're all evil and corrupt to the core of their souls. That'll make some eyes roll. I can't prove what I think, but it sure would explain some things.
