Here's the Big News from Glenville:

Zenith Retains Turnaround Adviser
Dangremond Named Acting CFO

GLENVIEW, Ill., Jan. 6 Zenith Electronics Corporation (NYSE: ZE) has retained Robert N. Dangremond to advise the company in its turnaround efforts.

Dangremond, a principal in the New York-based consulting firm Jay Alix & Associates, has significant expertise and experience in returning underperforming companies to profitability.

In addition, Dangremond, 54, will serve as Zenith's acting chief financial officer, replacing Roger A. Cregg, who resigned to take a position with another company.

Tim, Thanks for the correction.

Thomas, Excellent surfing. In response to your earlier questions:

1. Sony is not in the LGE/ZE camp.
2. Regarding something BIG, must have been the Acting CFO news.
3. Don't know how ZE did in the fourth quarter. Who knows, maybe we could get an AAPL-like surprise!!
