I don't see any reason to use stated book value for ALLY (or banks in general). I think adjusted tangible book of 26.15 is more appropriate and because of its narrow focus on car loans and low ROE, that ALLY deserves to trade at a discount to tangible book.

ALLY. I'll step up for a few more shares here. Stock could still be a value here, trading under stated and tangible bv. Otoh, at multiyear high, maybe not.

Aside: EKS Graham number is $39 with stock at $~24.
