It's not against the law for Jeff Sessions to meet with Donald Trump.

But Sessions is guilty of Felony perjury if he did meet with Donald Trump but Sessions told the Senate Confirmation Committee under Oath he didn't meet with Donald Trump.

He'd face time in prison for lying under Oath, even though there's absolutely nothing criminal about meeting with Donald Trump.

Jeff Sessions understands this very well because he's an attorney, a former prosecutor, a former Attorney General of Alabama, and was a current Senator with a Security Clearance from the FBI when he decided to lie under Oath.

No one asked Jeff Sessions if he had met with any representatives of the Russian government - weirdly he volunteered this perjury saying he had not met with any Russian representative during the campaign! That's what made his decision to voluntarily lie under oath so breathtaking stupid. He knows perfectly well, like I do, that thousands of powerful people have had their lives totally destroyed by Felony perjury.

Even if Jeff Sessions can successfully prevent people from prosecuting him for perjury, he will still have his Security Clearance level reduced or revoked for lying under oath.

There's nothing Sessions or Trump can do about that short of changing our Security Clearance laws. A law change would be strongly opposed by a lot of Republicans and Democrats in Congress and the Senate and other parts of the government.
