Lying under Oath about meeting with someone is Felony Perjury.

Sessions met with Sergey Kislyak during the campaign to discuss lifting western sanctions against Russia. That's not a chance interaction or something you'd easily forget.

No one is trying to claim that Jeff Sessions just happened to be walking in the same public park as Kislyak and said "Very nice to see you Sergey. How are things going?"

If you found yourself in that situation I'd suggest you claim your chance interaction with Kislylak in the park was not "a meeting" but simply "running across somebody" which is why you said, "I had no meetings with him". That depends on what the definition of "is" is, so you'd probably not be prosecuted and if you were, you'd probably be found not-guilty of Felony Perjury. It's up to the trial judge or jury.

This is why attorneys tend to be very specific about what they say.
