In the final analysis, it all boils down to Faith or Trust, whether that takes the form of Faith in G-d, Trust in Reason or Love of Humanity. The three need not be mutually exclusive. That's the error the believer and atheist share, who, in fact, is a big believer himself, with lots of unquestioned assumptions. Think about that for a while.
You need to learn tolerance and experience some real humility. Suffering and bitterness comes a dime a dozen. The point is to do something about it and transform the experience into something positive and show some love for others. I couldn't care less what someone's religious orientation is or even if they are religious. I judge others by what they do or don't do for their fellow man. I will bond with anyone of any faith who will put their money where there mouth is and invest their time to make the world a better, more humane place to live in. And, by the way, Bernie Sanders was no atheist. He possessed a deep Faith in G-d.
