Elmat.. you do not believe the American people had enough of the lies spewed by the 0 admin re the economy ? Also take into consideration the giving away of multiple $Billions to Iran while the food stamp and gov assistance roles increased to their highest levels in modern times. 100 million able bodied men and women unable to find jobs while corps are leaving for low wage low tax environments outside the US borders. College grads declining loans because the jobs, just like the thrill, are gone. Risk and fear played a role.. but in the end "if you like your country you can keep your country" was no longer believed so the bums got tossed. It's the American way.
