>>> Would sure like to have an accurate account of how much money is moving into funds <<<<

Just to throw a possible quirk to the inflows into funds. Almost all of the funds used for 401-K moneys have allocation ability, so they can invest in either equities or bonds. Going back to a point you made previously, do not believe the funds need to invest in equities immediately. Therefore my next question is how much of the inflow $ are going into bonds. My assumption is that the inflow into bonds is increasing and at a pace which is relatively higher than the inflows into equities, for the immediate shor-term.

I am hoping that at least on a intraday basis the DOW will be up so I can initiate my PUT position. If it is not up at all, I will not chase, since I do not feel that the downside at this moment is that great (100-200 DOW points).
