Right. And it isn't that difficult.

You're a solar expert. Do the arithmetic. How big of a solar array would it take to produce enough power to extract carbon at a meaningful rate? Let's say, to reduce CO2 by 100ppm over ten years? Surely someone has calculated this. Or it will be fun exercise for you.

Add in aggressive planting of trees, problem solved. It isn't like we couldn't deal with that over a reasonable period of time if it were determined to be a problem. But we need to make sure we're dealing with the CORRECT problem before we start throwing money at it.

People are in a panic over nothing. I would recommend planting some trees. You can do that today if you'd like and you'll feel better.

Do you mean that if we 100% stopped CO2 emissions the earth could still warm for hundreds of years?
Well, if that is how it is we might as well eat drink and be merry because we are toast.

I have to say that these revelations are making the whole thing look less likely.
