For perjury to have happened, there has to be intent. And in this case, IMHO, it will be very hard to prove to given the context and the actual response.

Posting examples of past perjury cases with no details on how they might relate, doesn't add to the discussion and instead clutters the thread. If you would like to have an open discussion of the details of the actual incident, let me know...
