Agree. What I responded with was my suggestions to separate health care and health insurance. Allow HSA's, remove 0bama's mandate and return to the doc patient relationship. Wether a doctor or a hospital makes a profit is irrelevant to that point. What works in Canada wrt gov control doesn't necessarily translate to working here in the US. If you firmly believe gov is the answer then have the gov set up insurance and healthcare for those that cannot afford it and leave the general pop to a free market. How is it that working for the Vets ?
