A new name, somebody mentioned ( and corroborated) in the Golden Shower dossier (which says collusion took place). Try to make it to the end of this paragraph without barfing. I'm gonna suggest you watch Maddow's opening segment every evening for a while . She's been all over the Russia story. I learned about both of these from tonight's show.

Russian diplomat under U.S. scrutiny in election meddling speaks
WASHINGTON

A Russian diplomat who worked in the Washington embassy left the country last August while federal investigators examined whether he played a key covert role in the alleged Kremlin-directed plot to influence last fall’s U.S. elections.

Two people with knowledge of a multi-agency investigation into the Kremlin’s meddling have told McClatchy that Mikhail Kalugin was under scrutiny when he departed.

Lawmakers demand action to end threats to Jewish facilities
Posted: Mar 08, 2017 3:29 AM PST

The U.S. Senate is calling on the Trump administration to take action against the growing number of threats against Jewish organizations.

This comes after 14 bomb threats were made to Jewish centers in 10 states Tuesday. That brings the total number of threats made since January, to 135. Targets have included synagogues, Jewish day schools and community centers.

All 100 senators addressed a letter to Attorney General Jeff Sessions, FBI Director James Comey, and Homeland Security Secretary John Kelly. In that letter, the senators say that the incidents are becoming more frequent. They say, the "cowardly acts aim to create an atmosphere of fear," and that failure to take swift action places innocent people at risk.
