Ray Caesars Palace debuts its new Japanese eatery by Michael Paskevich Jan 6 1998 11:40AM CST, The Las Vegas Review-Journal Caesars Palace debuts its new Japanese eatery Caesars Palace, 3570 Las Vegas Blvd. South, has opened a new Japanese restaurant and sushi bar, Hyakumi, replacing the resort's long-running Ah'So restaurant. Executive chef Hiroji Obayashi, well-known for his creative cuisine at the award-winning Hirozen Gourmet Restaurant in Los Angeles, is overseeing the menu that combines both traditional and contemporary Japanese cooking styles. The restaurant menu features choices of prix-fixe teppan-yaki feasts or a la carte dining in separate dining areas. There are also more than 40 specialties available at the sushi bar, which is open daily except Monday from 5 to 11 p.m. (until midnight Friday and Saturday). Dinner service is daily except Monday from 6 to 11 p.m. with set- price four-course feasts priced between $54 and $64 per person in addition to the a la carte dining.
